Do Whatever He tells you to do

Do Whatever He Tells You To Do!
We all want to succeed. We have goals and plans which need to happen for us to say we have succeeded. What people succeeded in their lives?
1. Have a Purpose
• Jesus had a purpose. To save His people.
“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭NKJV
2. Have an Assignment
Jesus knew His assignment and was determined to achieve it. His food was His business. Every time He thought of me (a sinner) His heart was pumping and all He was thinking about was saving me. His thoughts of me strengthened Him.
“Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Thelema: will, purpose, intention
3. Do whatever God tells you to do
“Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NKJV
What happens when the original person is no longer there?
The purpose remains and assignment goes on.
• Joshua had to continue Moses’ assignment.
“ Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
• God promised the Israelites great things.
“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:3-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
• Do you know God’s promises for you? Read the Word.
• Have the Word of God in your mouth. It will bring you success.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
• What Word do you have concerning your business or your assignment?
Are you complaining? Are speaking in fear?
• The Word of God is living and powerful. As long as you speak it and do it, it shall come to pass.
“His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it. ”
‭‭John‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭NKJV
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭NKJV
• The Word of God won’t come back without accomplishing its assignment.
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭NKJV
• The Word of God performs.
“Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭NKJV
